Lau Seow Mui joined Rohamat & Ling in July 2018 as a legal assistant. She was called to the Bar in August 2012. Since the commencement of her legal practice in October 2012, Lau Seow Mui was exposed to matters in relation to debt recovery, banking & insolvency litigation, administration of estate, dissolution of marriage, contractual disputes, corporate & commercial disputes, real estate disputes & intellectual property disputes.

Experience

  • Acting for clients to recover debt arising from goods sold and delivered.
  • Acting for clients to obtain grant of legal representation to administer the deceased’s estate.
  • Acting for and advising clients on family law including dissolution of marriage, custody of children, maintenance and division of matrimonial assets.
  • Acting for and advising on issues pertaining to the dispute of ownership of land.
